Despite the restrictions, the 3rd annual Sister Cities Fashion and Costumes Film Festival was held on the first weekend of October in Mers-les-Bains and Le Tréport. ESMOD, a partner of the event since the 1st event, could never miss this year’s festival. This year, the festival jury was chaired by Lio and the film line-up was just as exciting.
Although this time it was impossible to organize a fashion show as it is traditionally done, the school was able to take part in the round table of costume trades and produced a short video for the closing ceremony of the Festival which was held in the large hall of the Casino du Tréport. This video, projected just before the documentary retracing the career of Pierre Cardin, highlighted the students who, during their juries on September 22, 23 and 24, spoke about the great designer Pierre Cardin as well as the potential challenges he may face in the years to come.
This event consolidated the ties that unite ESMOD and the Festival, which is growing in notoriety year after year.
