ESMOD Oslo paired with the Bergans brand with the goal of repurposing their obsolete collections.
As a result, 60 students redesigned and re-appropriated over 250 Bergans products (hiking pants, ski jackets, climbing equipment, backpacks, tents and sleeping bags.) Students were not only able to create completely new products from these old products, they also learned about Bergans’ specialized, technical materials in the process.
On Saturday November 30th; the finished products of these redesigns were shown in Oslo.
