Overview
The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for the visual identity of a brand or one or several stores and thus contributes to sales optimization. They support and train the sales teams in the visual identity, as well as product presentation and placement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Establish or organize event zones corresponding to commercial operations
- Propose and promote new collection presentations
- Oversee or coordinate and monitor projects
- Monitor compliance with the visual identity in the store and the application of merchandising principles
- Advise the in-store sales teams on merchandising
- Stage themes
- Showcase products to develop turnover
- Meet with suppliers
- Monitor competitors
- Manage a team of visual merchandisers
SKILLS:
- Analyse trends in the fashion and ready-to-wear markets and anticipate changes to marketing approaches in the sector
- Define marketing strategies adapted to distribution and marketing patterns for products and accessories from fashion and ready-to-wear brands
- Design and implement communications strategies adapted to market, distribution patterns and sales channels
- Oversee marketing operations, agencies and service providers, training and team management
SOFT SKILLS:
Communication, listening and dialogue skills, creativity while respecting the brand’s visual image, ability to anticipate and intuition to keep abreast of emerging trends, teaching skills to give advice to the sales team.
AVERAGE ANNUAL SALARY:
Between €35K and €38K
