On Saturday, December 11th, a major auction was held in Roubaix to raise money for the “L’Auberge des Migrants” association.
Thomas Vasseur, ESMOD alumni now professor in Paris and Roubaix, and creator of the brand Voir(e) is full of fresh ideas that combines fashion with social justice and charity. Most recently, he set up the WELCOM(E) Project to help migrants in the North of France by calling upon ESMOD Roubaix students to design pieces utilizing upcycling methodology. On December 11th, there was a large auction was held in Roubaix to raise funds for the ‘L’Auberge des Migrants’ association that helps immigrants in Calais and the surrounding areas. Nearly €10,000 were raised and will be used to provide tents to refugees so they have shelter.
