Prepare for a future in Fashion Design in the heart of the fashion capital with our Foundation Course

Do you dream of living in Paris? Are you interested in having a career in fashion and design but don’t know how to begin?

ESMOD’s Foundation Course will provide you with all the elements you need to understand the creative process and acquire a solid fashion knowledge. Via fun discovery visits of Paris’ fashion neighborhoods, you will learn how to observe the fashion scene, the culture, the trends, the boutiques etc. in order to nurture your creativity.

You will develop your skills by getting an introduction to techniques in fashion design (fashion sketches, personal artistic universe development, etc) and in pattern-making (3D volume research, draping, exercises on a dress.)

This preparatory course, taught in English (ideal for international students), will allow you to go on to the first year of the “Fashion Designer ” undergraduate degree program with confidence. It will also give you the opportunity to learn French (optional) so that you can better adapt to Parisian life.

Course dates: From March 29th to July 16th 2021
